Faridabad Road Accident | Overspeeding Case | Police Injured in Car Crash
Faridabad, June 8 – A serious road accident took place on Saturday morning when a 19-year-old girl, reportedly taking pilot coaching, crashed her father’s Scorpio SUV into a police vehicle on a flyover in Faridabad. The car was moving at an extremely high speed of 170 kmph, causing a major collision that resulted in the police van falling off the flyover.
Police Van Falls, Home Guards Injured
The accident occurred around 8 a.m. near the Neelam flyover on the way to Sirsana turn. The police vehicle, a Ford EcoSport, was stationed along with home guard officials to manage traffic. The speeding Scorpio lost control, rammed into the police vehicle, and then hit the flyover railing. Due to the impact, the police car plunged from the flyover, severely injuring two home guards inside.
The Scorpio was badly damaged, and the girl driving the vehicle was caught at the scene. She is a resident of Delhi, and police were able to trace the vehicle ownership through its registration number.
Girl Arrested, Father Summoned by Police
The police confirmed that the driver did not have a valid license. As per traffic laws, minors or unlicensed individuals are not permitted to drive, and legal action is also taken against the vehicle owner. Following this, the girl’s father has been called for questioning.
The Scorpio is suspected to have entered Faridabad from Delhi. The incident is under investigation to determine the full sequence of events and any possible negligence.

This tragic incident comes just a day after three people died in a road crash at Ballabhgarh Old Chowk. A speeding truck ran over three motorcyclists, killing them on the spot. The accident was captured on CCTV footage. In a separate incident the same night at 2:15 a.m., a Volvo bus hit a biker, resulting in another fatality.
