Kawasaki Ninja 650 Gets ₹22,000 Discount in India: Effective Price Now ₹7.69 Lakh

Kawasaki Ninja 650 Gets ₹22,000 Discount in India

Limited-period offer valid till March 31, 2026

Japanese motorcycle brand Kawasaki has announced a limited-time discount on the MY25 version of the Kawasaki Ninja 650 in India. The company is offering a price reduction of ₹22,000, making the middleweight sportbike slightly more affordable for buyers.

With this discount, the motorcycle’s effective ex-showroom price drops to ₹7.69 lakh, compared to the earlier price of ₹7.91 lakh. According to the company, this special offer will remain valid until 31 March 2026.

The announcement was made through Kawasaki’s official social media channels, encouraging interested buyers to visit their nearest dealership for more details.

Price cut makes Ninja 650 more attractive

The discount makes the Ninja 650 a more appealing option in the middleweight sportbike segment. While the price reduction may not seem very large, it can help buyers save money that could be used for riding gear, accessories, or insurance costs.

For enthusiasts planning to purchase a premium sportbike, the limited-time offer may serve as a good opportunity to enter Kawasaki’s lineup.

No changes to design or features

Apart from the price cut, the motorcycle itself remains unchanged. Kawasaki has not made any updates to the design, features, or mechanical components of the MY25 Ninja 650.

The bike continues to be available in the Lime Green, Ebony, and Pearl Blizzard White colour combination, which reflects Kawasaki’s signature sporty styling.

The aggressive fairing, sharp LED headlamps, and aerodynamic bodywork continue to define the Ninja 650’s design language.

Engine and performance details

The MY25 Ninja 650 is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine produces:

  • 67 bhp at 8,000 rpm

  • 64 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm

The motor is known for its smooth power delivery and strong mid-range performance, making it suitable for both city rides and highway touring.

However, it is important to note that this version of the engine is not E20 fuel compliant. Riders using E20 petrol may need to monitor long-term engine performance.

Kawasaki has already addressed this issue with the recently introduced MY26 Ninja 650, which comes with E20 compatibility.

Chassis and suspension setup

The Ninja 650 is built on a high-strength steel trellis frame, which helps maintain a balance between rigidity and lightweight handling.

Suspension duties include:

  • 41 mm telescopic front forks with 125 mm of travel

  • Rear monoshock suspension with 130 mm of travel

This setup ensures stable handling, especially during high-speed riding and cornering.

Braking and tyres

For braking performance, the motorcycle uses a dual-disc setup at the front and a single disc at the rear:

  • Front brakes: Twin 300 mm discs

  • Rear brake: Single 220 mm disc

The Ninja 650 rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends.

The tyre configuration includes:

  • Front tyre: 120/70 section

  • Rear tyre: 160/60 section

Kawasaki equips the bike with Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres as standard, which are designed to provide strong grip and stable handling.

Should buyers consider this offer?

With the ₹22,000 discount, the Ninja 650 becomes slightly more competitive in its category. While there are no new upgrades in this version, the motorcycle continues to offer balanced performance, sporty design, and Kawasaki’s strong brand appeal.

Buyers looking for a reliable middleweight sportbike with smooth twin-cylinder performance may find this limited-time offer worth considering before the deadline at the end of March 2026.
