PM Modi Completes 11 Years as PM; BJP Celebrates Transformative Leadership and Strategic Milestones

On May 26, 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked a significant milestone, completing 11 years in office. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hailed his leadership, describing his tenure as one defined by “transformative initiatives, strategic policies, and actions” that have strengthened the nation and elevated India’s global standing.

PM Modi first took the oath of office on this very day in 2014, and he continues to lead the country with his third consecutive term, which began in June 2024. The BJP celebrated this achievement with praise for Modi’s contributions to India’s development, both domestically and internationally.

BJP Lauds Modi’s Visionary Leadership

BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra took to social media to congratulate PM Modi on his 11-year tenure. “Heartiest congratulations to PM Narendra Modiji on completing 11 years of being the Prime Minister of India,” Patra wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter). He added that Modi’s leadership has been a catalyst for transformative policies, actions, and initiatives that have not only strengthened India’s economic and social fabric but also boosted the nation’s global stature.

The BJP emphasized that under Modi’s leadership, India has made critical decisions that were once considered unimaginable and unprecedented. “From breaking decades-old shackles to shaping new paths for the future, PM Modi has led India through some of the most remarkable transformations,” the party posted on its official X handle.

Modi’s Vision of Inclusive Growth

Echoing Patra’s sentiments, Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Jual Oram also took to social media to mark the occasion. Oram highlighted that PM Modi’s leadership was rooted in the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas”—the idea of collective effort for inclusive development. Since assuming office in 2014, Modi has been relentless in his pursuit of national progress, aiming to ensure that all sections of society benefit from India’s growth.

In his message, BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawde praised Modi for his tireless efforts as “pradhan sevak” (chief servant) of the nation. “Since May 26, 2014, Narendra Modiji has devoted himself to serving the people day and night, pushing forward policies for economic advancement, social inclusion, and national security,” Tawde said in a post on X.

A New Era for India

The BJP emphasized that May 26, 2014, did not just mark a swearing-in ceremony; it marked the dawn of a new era in Indian politics. Under PM Modi’s leadership, India has seen sweeping reforms in sectors such as healthcare, education, infrastructure, and digital innovation. Programs like the Digital India initiative, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), and the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana have left a lasting impact on the country’s growth trajectory.

The BJP also pointed out that Modi’s government has brought about a paradigm shift in India’s foreign policy, strengthening ties with major global powers and positioning India as a key player on the world stage.

A Strong Stance on National Security

During a public address in Gujarat’s Dahod on Monday, PM Modi took the opportunity to launch a direct and scathing attack on India’s neighboring country, Pakistan. He accused Pakistan of continually fostering hatred against India and engaging in activities that aim to destabilize the region. While India has been focused on eradicating poverty and fostering economic growth, Modi emphasized that Pakistan remains fixated on causing harm to India.

Furthermore, Modi praised “Operation Sindoor,” a military initiative that had recently been launched, calling it not just a military action but a “profound expression of India’s ethos and feelings.” According to Modi, the operation was a decisive response to fulfill the responsibility entrusted to him by the citizens of India when they made him their ‘pradhan sevak’ on May 26, 2014.

Looking Ahead: A Vision for the Future

As Prime Minister Modi completes 11 years in office, his government is focusing on continuing the momentum of economic reforms and technological advancements. With his eyes set on making India a $5 trillion economy, Modi is emphasizing policies that aim to further empower citizens through social welfare, financial inclusion, and sustainable development.

His leadership has seen India’s rise as a global economic powerhouse, and the BJP remains confident in the ongoing efforts of the Modi government to further elevate India’s stature on the world stage. Whether it’s tackling national security issues, improving governance, or enhancing global partnerships, Modi’s vision for India continues to evolve.
