A heartbreaking road accident occurred on Wednesday morning near Bhatkabas village in Jaipur district, Rajasthan, where a high-speed collision between a container truck and a passenger vehicle on National Highway-148 (Dausa-Manoharpur Road) claimed the lives of five people, including the newlywed bride and groom. Four others were seriously injured in the accident.

The victims were part of a wedding group returning from Madhya Pradesh after completing marriage rituals. Around 14-15 family members and relatives, including the bride and groom, were traveling in a passenger vehicle. As they neared Bhatkabas village, a speeding container truck coming from the opposite direction collided head-on with their vehicle.
